Really nice ... if you don't mind, can you tell me how i can do this? as in convert a photograph into a line art? thanks!

and btw: i am very inspired by this so i'm going to color this soon and use it as a wallpaper with full credit of the lines to you of course. Hope you don't mind

Thank you! I did this in Photoshop, so I could only really explain it for that program... want me to?

Yay! i use Adobe photoshop 7 (lately downloaded Gimp because i can't find much for 7 just CS3) so if you could explain how to do this in 7 that would be really really great!

Well to be honest, all I really did was make a new layer above the photo and trace it with the brush tool. Though if I were to do it over again, I'd probably use the pen tool. This tutorial does a pretty good job of explaining it [link] . If you have any specific questions or want me to go into more detail, I'd be happy to.

You did well at making it look like the photograph, yet it still seems very stylistic at the same time. The flowery branches were a really nice touch. Great work.
