Sounds absolutely adorable!
I'm assuming these guys have the ability to learn and expand mentally. I wonder if a junkyard would be their equivalent to a graveyard.
With robotic sentience it makes one wonder how they will view the world. Ah well.

Yea he can learn, but probably will continue to act like a young child no matter how intelligent he gets. He understands what people tell him, and can repeat words to try and communicate what he wants or thinks. Slang, sarcasm, and exaggeration do not work too well with him. And for some reason he picks up on curse words faster than anything.

And i'm not sure about the junkyard being a graveyard. Being parts from him came from the junkyard. Since he isn't actually capable of complex emotions, I don't think robots would really understand a sense of life and death, and being gone forever and such.

Well with curse words it makes sense... people say it more forcefully and with more vigor than any other words.
I'm sure if something like this being, who can learn, sees someone die or a machine 'die', break apart, and never be used again. He might compare the two to eachother. Watching as creators of these beings simply sell off their 'children' and make new ones, on occasion using 'remains' to make a different being.
Oh well, just my theorizing.
