It was supposed to be a simple scouting mission for Amber, better known by her friends by her codename of Agent 3 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon. But when she arrived at the location, she noticed an abandoned looking warehouse in the middle of the field. A building this far way from civilization where reports of odd noises and mechanical whirling had been popping up as of late with an Octarian symbol on the side of the building? This could not be a coincidence. Believing this to be an Octarian base attempting to start back up, Amber made the choice to investigate even further and bring the place down herself. Ignoring her main directive and opting to not inform her friends, she worked her way into the building to take it down.

Getting closer, the large metal door opened just enough for her to slide through in squid form. A bit odd, but no time for worrying about it. But once she slipped right in, the metal door slammed back down, making several locking noises. Seemingly locked inside, Amber attempted to pry the door back open with her own hands, setting her Hero Shot to the ground. Unfortunately for her, she was so busy trying to get the door to open that she was completely unaware of the two Octoling soldiers walking up to her. Suddenly, SURPRISE ATTACK! The two soldiers kicked her Hero Shot away and managed to pin her down and begin wrapping her up in tight purple tape. Despite her training in 2v1 scenarios, the soldiers swift wrapping gave them the upper hand they needed to thoroughly wrap her up completely in the sticky material. Now fully mummified, the soldiers applauded each other on their hard work, informing Amber that they used this place as a trap to lure her in to capture her and turn her into their boss, Professor Callous, for a possible promotion. Beyond furious, Amber resisted their attempts to carry her out. Even when her boots were taken off to soften her kicks, it still didn't stop her struggles. Out of materials to further restrain her and with that ever fiery spark in her eyes, just what was to become of our ambitious agent now?

I'd be lying if I didn't forget how long it took to get a picture drawn.

Hey there everyone! Back just before the month is over with a new picture. As promised in my last post, this one is one that I drew myself featuring a character that I haven't surprisingly drawn a lot: My Inkling OC of Amber, aka my take on Agent 3. It surprised me that I've drawn very little of her, which probably happened due to the times she's appeared in pieces I've commissioned instead of my work works. Well that certainly can't stand and I dare say it's time she appeared in more of my art pieces, don't you think?

That being said, here we have Amber currently wrapped up in tight purple tape at the hands of two Octoling soldiers. As the in-picture text boxes and mini story upon explain, Amber was lured into a trap set in place by the soldiers, knowing full well she'd be the one to take the bait and get herself caught. Now fully wrapped up and at the mercy of these two soldiers, just what's to become of her? Well, she's going to be turned into the Octolings' boss in hopes of getting a promotion. No longer stuck as "abandoned base guards," they plan to move right on up to the statues of "executive abandoned base guards."

If we know anything about Amber, she's not about to let herself be used as a promotional gift and is going to do whatever it takes to get herself free and stop these two low-level villains. Though being fully mummified while barefoot without a weapon or any way of contacting backup, her only real way of fighting back is furiously struggling and making it impossible for the soldiers to escort her out. And without any more restraining tape or means of transportation besides their own hands, how exactly are things going to play out from here?

Well, we'll soon be finding out as I also have drawn up a secondary piece to this picture! Not quite a sequel, but more of a "secondary continuation" to this piece that shows what happens next to Amber in her current predicament. I'll link it here once I have it posted, but just know the soldiers have one final trick up their sleeve that is going to get Amber to comply with their plans; just you wait and see.

But that's going to do it for this piece. Like I said, I have another picture to post right after this one in which I'll wrap things up (get it?) over there and relay any final comments in regards to this double picture feature. I do hope you enjoy this new art piece from me and look forward to the secondary follow-up coming right in a second.
