We're trying to build an aquatic community! Giving something to bring them together in the form of a dream where it's all about those fins! Yess. The only thing I'm not entirely happy with is the transitioning poses for "walking" it felt pretty impossible to make fluid swimming, and posing them horizontal made it look awkward for just standing? I'm happy with what I accomplished, but it caused a lot of hair tearing.

The dream is still in it's infancy as far as being completed. It will take a month or so before we're ready to open it up!

I want to definitely be a part of this project of yours. I actually have suitable characters for it, just not fully designed and finished! I've wanted to be a part of an aquatic community for a long time.

soooo cool. Do they swim horizontally when they move? I would love to see them in action!

They do. It was the biggest hurdle for me to accomplish a sort of a swimming/floating thing. The standing pose has an idle animation, and there are transitional poses of the mermaid leaning forward with the tail swishing. It was difficult to translate in three frames, but I'm pretty happy how it turned out.

Oh maaaan that is awesome. Doal had some awesome mermaids back in the day. I was working on some referencing the flutterphins. Can't wait to see yours.
