Crovan's Gate Workshop-June 15th 1921: The head of the North Western has recently finished a new type of engine class for it's railway to mainly shunt and arrange trains. The engine was given the workshop number 70 and after his trials were completed and deemed sucessful, he was given a new livery of a prototypical teal with white lining. Soon after, the tank engine asked if he could have a proper name like all the other engines did. His crew agreed, and decided to give him the name, Thomas.
