Okay, I'm not sure how exactly it will build up to this moment, but suggested to do a story where Oliver's old owner comes to reclaim him only to want to turn him to scrapmetal. But before he can do that, Bear tells the man to take him instead, shocking everybodyRelated content

Well, hopefully, Oliver’s old owner doesn’t have any solid proof of ownership. Without evidence, he’s got no case.

Well, Oliver was smuggled to Sodor by a certain Scottish engine, so things are a bit fishy.

That it is, but anybody could waltz onto Sodor and claim that they’re the former owner of one of Sir Topham Hatt’s engines. He’d need to show proof in paper, or he’d technically be stealing.
Of course, the NWR could simply pay the old arse Oliver’s scrap value to settle things.

A friend suggested this to me. Basically, Oliver is restored and working on Duck's branchline, but Oliver old owner has come to reclaim him as he was stolen from BR. Bear demands that the old owner takes him and leave Oliver alone.

Oliver and the other engines to get Bear to back out, but he is firm in his choice, saying something along the lines of "Oliver needs to be here more than I do." After Bear goes, BoCo reveals that some diesels aren't very lucky and are being withdrawn as quickly as they were built. So, it's a race against the clock to get Bear back.

Ugh, yeah. Not a fan of that from what little info I've heard.

Yeah, I used to voice for them every once in a while. But since they started to get very strict on microphone quality, I was removed from the TCC. I was a bit down at first, but I got over it with time. Considering they keep on reusing plots here and there, I’m glad I left. But there are a few redeeming qualities such as the voice acting and music.

I see. I was turned off from it the moment I heard Diesel 10 was given the good guy treatment and Diesel was an over the top villain. Not to mention this weird thing with Diesel 10 being Phillip's... 'father figure'. Honestly, BoCo or Edward would have fit the role of being a father figure.

I see. I mean I kinda liked Diesel 10’s redemption arc, though it could’ve been written better. There was never a proper explanation on why Diesel snapped like that. Also the interaction between Diesel 10 and Philip was funny from the start. But I see where you’re coming from.

You’re welcome. The one thing that does annoy me about the TCC is the overuse of runaways and carelessness. Not to mention how much it drags so painfully on.

Yeah. So all in all, the TCC started out great. But then it went down, the up, then down again, and so on.
