So this is being submitted for Summer Contest. It may not seem like a summery thing to do but I'll explain.

As far as I have known the best time for viewing fireflies was during the summer at night. My thought process was something along the lines of "Summer=hot=need to cool down at night=outside walk at night=fireflies". Yeah, I'm just a little bit weird that way. But this seemed a nice subject to draw from, considering most would associate summer with the beach and I cannot draw sand nor water.

So, this monster of an art was done completely in SAI, which I am still trying out. My background is sloppy and mushy, but I like it that way. Surprisingly, the hardest thing to do here was the fireflies. I had an urge to copy and paste them immensely. Ed's leg positions look slightly painful, but that was the best I could get them at.

Aren't they just adorable when they are little? View this as pairing if you want, just don't start a war out there
