note to self,
this distance is killing me.

II.
note to self,
I remember thirteen years ago,
i fell off a bike and rolled down a hill with it.
it landed on top of me.
it didn't even hurt.

III.
note to self,
you're not crazy.

IV.
dear me,
do not keep your head in the clouds
air is thin up there.

V.
dear me,
on the off chance you don't suffocate
with your head in the clouds,
planes fly up there.

VI.
dear me,
words cut worse than knives.
and no, the first cut is never the deepest.

VII.
note to self,
one sentence is all you need.
two can be overkill.

It may be a trend worth setting.

I like the flow of this. Each is like a simple thought just randomly created with nowhere to be used aloud and yet is so meaningful, important, and perfect. I love and hate when I get those thoughts. I love them so much that I want to use them for something and hate that I can't figure out how or when or where. Anyway, I love how you made this into a doorway into the thoughts and reminders of consciousness.
