Also is it just me or that blurr/zoom effect is very similar to how they stop the image in Super Smash Bros Brawl to introduce a character? They don't do the effect though.

Sorry I don't have screen capturing software or a mic so I can't, I didn't look at a tutorial but if you have Photoshop or Paint.net it should just be under the effects tab and then under blurs
