!!!Please click on download to view the whole mockup!!!I decided a few weeks ago, that I'll be doing a little one man project, that will be a reminiscence to my favorite 16-bit shoot em up - Axelay. this is not a screenshot, but a mockup.
I actualy mimicked the hud and it's font pixel by pixel from a screenshot I found on google - especialy that catchy life icon had to be there
oh and I tried some new color combinations, primarily on the platforms and the space bg.
( you might recognize the walker from earlier)

I didn't know Axeley but I was a big fan of R-TYPE and it is great to see that sort of look again.
