After Dawncloud left, I knew that Blossomkit and I were in peril. Especially since ThunderClan was not too welcome with visitors. But Brightkit kept reassuring us that we'd be approved and gratified well in ThunderClan. And the queens were extremely nice. But no one could replace Dawncloud. The day she left I knew that my life would never be the same, in the best way possible. We'd be out of the dilemma which was ShadowClan. But ThunderClan life seemed to be lazy, and sun kissed. I hate to admit that I liked working under Brokenstar at some point, constantly being busy and training under his strict rules, which wasn't in a preservative way, not at all, it was in undomesticated ways, such as fighting every day and having to get used to deep wounds along the shoulders or neck. As we pushed through the gorse tunnel, a white molly's eyes lit up. "My kits!" The white molly rushed up to us and started to nuzzle Cinderkit, Brackenkit, Brightkit, and Thornkit. The Clan began to gather around them, plastering them in licks.
Yes, I knew I'd be spoiled and indulged here. When ThunderClan saw me and Blossomkit, their eyes were darkening with hostility and neck fur rising. "ShadowClan cats," grumbled a pale tabby. A blue-gray molly squeezed through the crowd. "Control yourself, Longtail, they're only just kits. They can't cause any harm," the gray molly faced them. "You two must be Swampkit and Blossomkit, right?"
"Mhm," I mumbled, feeling like a burden. "Splendid, where's Dawncloud?"
We hesitated, and Blossomkit looked at me, then back at the ThunderClan cat. "She left us." She choked. The ThunderClan cat's eyes softened. "Frostfur has plenty of milk, she'll act as your mother if you-"
"You're not my mother!" I snapped into a raging fury, why was this molly being so lenient towards me? "And you never will be!" Frostfur looked at me, hurt in her blue eyes that I had screeched at her. Then I turned and fled into some den, I didn't know anyone here, or anything that lay here. Why did I have to follow Dawncloud?
