"Today, my teacher was telling us a story about her friend's adopted son and how he got picked on for it. One day at school a boy went up to him and said, "I came from my mommy's tummy, where did you come from?" knowing the boy was adopted. His response? "I came from my mommy's heart."

EDIT: Adoption carries a lot of political clout nowadays. Art typically is political, or spurs political discussion. The intention behind this piece was to illustrate a child's belief in the face of discrimination. I cannot control how you react, but let us all just look at the art for what it is, not what one wants to see.
