I don't usually reveal my autobuys if there's none listed but definitely quite high at least 2 digit number ; I wouldn't really want to sell them cheaper since I've sold drawings much more simple than this for 3 digits. But again I don't want to close down any kind of offers and I'm sort of checking how people value my art, out of curiosity (I'm weird I know XD).

I'm not terribly big into Closed species because of the drama that tends to follow them, there's only 1 I'm dedicated to, so I try not to go over the 20-40$ range if possible. But I also get paid on Friday's so next Friday would be payment time on my part (though normally I tip for long waits). I was planning on lurking but I actually hope your babies go for more than what I can offer.

Ooo what drama does closed species get? :0 I haven't seen any yet just asking out of curiosity. XD But yeah, I'm not way too strict with it since well, u know people are people and no matter what u draw someone copies it somewhere. Would be cool if others respect mine or anyones work but yeah, this world and humans are what they are... Mainly what I want to achieve with my species is to give my watchers or who ever supporters a species they can follow and play along with me. I like to write and think of stories for my characters, sort of like role play and maybe in the future role play (and more ;D we are planning an game app for phone within few years based on some of my species) with them ^w^ Although I'd hope that people wouldn't steal the idea of this exact design.

(p.s. I haven't been into this species business for too long, usually I just draw fan art aha)

Commercial ideas and closed species don't really mix imo (games, phone apps, etc) granted I'm not saying closed species are a bad thing, they just tend to get blown out of proportions. When you mix the two, especially starting from a closed species and having it develop you are going to have people that buy your adopts accordingly, follow rules, etc. But once it runs into main stream, like establishing a lore, world, traits, more and more people are going to take that property and make it their own despite best wishes, and when people start making their own characters from that world/race the people that initially bought it won't see theirs as truly unique anymore. I personally would not want that stress on my head but that's just me. It doesn't seem like your trying to get it that big, but I'll say that popularity comes with fan base punishment.

Don't get me wrong I have 2 closed species of my own, I'm very protective, though I'm not going to close off the idea of people making their own once I iron out the kinks.

***Delight was designed by sukibelle. Wolphfe did not design Delight at all. And Delight was not a MYO.
For easier reading, all conversations reads from top to bottom, top for the earliest notes.
On June 24,2014, I won my heartbby bunny OC which I named Hinata in wolphfe's auction for $401. (Yes, I was crazy because I really wanted this heartbby a lot) 

On the last day of the auction, I received notes from sukibelle asking me if I can trade this heartbby bunny if I won him. But I refused her offers because I want to finally be able to get a heartbby on my own without having to trade with others for one. Notice that suki though. You may have already seen it. It personally makes me feel bad not just for Moon but for Nick, the creator, as well. Not doing this to scare you out of any idea, I'm the last person to stiffle creativity, but since you're new to the closed species market I'd thought I'd let you know. I either buy my closed species because 1. I see their traits as something I want in my own personal rp, or 2. I want to support the artist to make more for reason #1 and that I like them as a person.

Well what comes to the commercial of the closed species will be just ''based'' on the similar idea but nothing will be looking same ofc and a lot of the things will be changed.

Then what comes to my species specifically is that I will always mention that ''you can not create this species with same concept'' so if I saw some people use exact same concept like for example; my other species Aiganor. Their characteristics of being a race to wipe impure humans off earth with their weapons and with their specific looks of the masks and grey skin. If I saw very similar gren skin, face hidden, weapons, kemonomimi's ofc I'd feel that it's a rip off but again is it something no one else wouldn't come up with themselves. I can't tell for sure. I do try to make my closed species more personal with a background story and heritages. This kind of small role playing been part of my closed species people wouldn't get if they were just rip off my species. Ofc not everyone focuses on stories and stuff like that but it has been my idea from the beginning of keeping it on this level of ''keeping my creations close to me''. I think this is a pretty nice way to keep my closed species unique in my own way. I haven't thought I would became big nor anything like that because I like to keep things small and cozy~ 

There's no way people can fully ever stop people from copying each other but wow that character thief journal is pure idiocy. Probably the best just to report that kind of people. Although, imo that is not the most uber creative and unique design either (pink, hearts, kiddy clothes, those ears... no offence ofc, but it's just something I see every day here even if it's soooo cute character it is not so hard to come up with). But yeah on that case the person even went and said where they got the idea from -facepalm- Nothing you can really do at that point other than report them being a thief just like the evidence has shown.

Regardless if this happened to my adopties and someone was sad about it I'm sure we would find a way to fix it and I would be 100% in that process with them never leaving them alone feeling ripped off. That's just horrible. My creations are not mass production ''i do this for money'' but they are carefully thought and loved characters with a story behind them and I would want my babies buyers to love them as much as I love making them. So, I don't only sell plain characters with this and this design but much more behind it. What I sell is not only the design but personality, a world and my own drawing style. My Aiganor species I did want to make open for people buy from me if they loved the concept, although it doesn't mean they have free hands to create what ever but I did give specific orders how to do it and what not to do to keep the species it's place and match my creations and the world and share the ideas. Also if there was too many buyers for the species creation I would have to selling it because I don't want it to be over popular and would be harder to keep track of them all.

I don't think my skills are anything to be very big and if I was to became bigger and people started to copy then I'm pretty sure it would be easier to get rid of these kind of idiotic cases (such as the person in the journal) with bigger support group. 

But hey, thanks so much for explaining more details about the issue and it did teach me a bit what can happen (although I'm pretty sure it wont happen to me since I'm just a small little person here among so many great names ^^). I feel it's important to understand the darker side of it also. So thank you for your time explaining! :3

'Based' is a loose term though. I have a Dark Soul's based oc, and while I don't think he looks/acts like any other character in the game(s) that's just my opinion, but hey I bet there is someone out there that has a character JUST like Solaire but with some pretty recolor work.

Trust me when you get popular, people tend to keep track of it FOR you. You'd be surprised how defensive people get about their characters. (Or maybe not lol) I just wanted to shed some light on the situation. Just remember everyone starts out small at first, time and dedication can change that.

Yus yus, it's understandable ^^ Gotta see what happens! Better be prepared :3 I'd be ready to fight back if anything bad happen to the chars I have created. But again, I'm pretty sure this happens very often even without closed species. People just copy each other who have no mind of their own.

Basically based on my case means completely different looking character but goes with the theme, the original idea. For example to my dark species (again referring to it) I'd follow the same  lore of the species, but you wont be seeing my Rin, Ren, Rah or Mana characters there in that game but new characters with a story and storyline of their own. That's basically the concept for it if it ever happens. ^^

I dont think thats weird at all. My drawings and interests are all over the map. So I get it. But these are so precious!!!! I just love all the little details and the third eye. And vi's colors are my favorite. Just gorgeous and ethereal. You did a lovely job with these girls.

Hahah yep well I guess it's better to like to draw various themes rather than same old always ^w^ I'm sooo blushing cuz u like them >//u//< Vi was done by accident btw XD I was playing with the hue wheel and there she was O.O I was like, THIS MUST BE DONE! (they both have blonde version too xD it actually looks very nice, especially on Ru, I wasn't sure if I should keep her red hair or the blonde, so epic ahah) but yeah the details... so much work. I haven't done anything on the past few days but draw. Gladly just remember to eat! 

I think this random idea for new species was a great way to get back on track. I feel so motivated again <3 Can't wait to finish ur Aiga! I'm so sorry it takes so damn long :c I just wanted it to be perfect and since I didn't really get it right at first it was annoying me and I tried to look ways to fix it >o< anyway, back to it with fresh mind, i'm sure i wont be taking long anymore xD
