Description
Request from the Internet demanding more AT and Gurren Lagann crossover work. I decided to do an eyecatch parody because A. I like the eyecatched from Gurren, and B. I figured this would be a nice sister piece to the Regular Show one I did previously.Unlike my Regular Show eyecatch this was done solely in Photoshop, nothing was vectorized in Illustrator like before. I may do a vector version at a later date, but I just don't have the time right now.

I remember seeing this one elsewhere some time ago, and even though I've seen many other TTGL eyecatch parodies this one is still one of my favourites. I don't know if it's because it parodies a specific eyecatch (one from an epic moment, even) instead of just the style, the shading that looks spot-on or the fact that the characters fit so well; perhaps all of the above. In short: great work!

Yep, she does the voice of PB. However when she's 13 it's a different VA who's name I can't remember right off the top of my head.

The Jake-Drill is the greatest. He would have been such a cool addition to the Gurren Brigade!! I also like your Nia Bubblegum! I agree with the other comment that having Kamina in here somewhere would have been amazing~

Thank you very much, I toyed around with what to do about the drill since in AT there isn't any drill symbolism so I figured making it Jake in a hat would be the best approach. I posted this to the other review that wanted Kamina as well - I was trying to do a close parody to the eyecatch which, unfortunately, didn't feature Kamina but I have considered doing one of the last eyecatches that feature Kamina and making a parody doing Jake.
I guess I should get on that, lol.

It was a parody piece of the particular eyecatch so Kamina wasn't in it. I've actually thought about doing one of the last eyecatches in the show with Jake as Kamina, but just haven't gotten around to it.

Thanks, I wish I could take full credit but other people online wanted to see more AT/TTGL crossover work so I just added to the little there is online.
