part of the 100 pictures challengeI thought the adorable Kid Devil (from the current version of Teen Titans) would be appropriate for 'fortitude', but the reason why has spoilers.
Ready?
He got his new powers by making a deal with a demon named Neron, of the sort that comes back to bite you in the butt. When Kid Devil turns twenty his soul will belong to Neron and he will have to become his protege. But despite that, he's a cheerful, friendly person and never lets anything get him down. That's fortitude for you.

Honestly I don't see why there aren't more... He's a cool character with a great backstory.

My theory on that is that the current artist after issue 2 of OYL couldn't manage more than one good picture of him per issue. Seriously, I looked through and there is literally only one per issue that isn't out of proportion or badly placed or just generally poorly drawn.

Maybe the artist got lazy? I dunno, he can be a bit hard to draw sometimes, but if these guys can draw Cyborg or someone from panel-to-panel, they should be able to handle KD. *shrugs* Either way, he needs much more attention.

Yeah... It wouldn't bother me if he hadn't already shown in the first two issues that he can draw him well if he TRIES. If he just couldn't draw him that would be unfortunate, but much less galling.

Actually, the deal was if Eddie stops trusting Daniel before his Twentieth birthday then his soul will be forfeit to Neron.

Yes, so due to this deal his soul belongs to Neron, as he'd stopped trusting him already by the time the reader finds out about the deal anyway. If I mentioned that I'd have to explain who Blue Devil is and why Eddie knows him and a bunch of other stuff they could just look up on wikipedia if they're that curious.
