Holy shit, he has eyes! I always assumed there was just nothing under his goggles. Like, just smooth skin from his eyebrows to his cheekbones. XD

There was at a point in his life. Then he got these mechanical ones, but they function in part with the goggles because they're incomplete. He has no tear ducts, so he can't weep. Instead, when he experiences heavy emotion, his entire body is wracked, and he usually vomits. His mechanical eyes are also extremely light sensitive, so he can see in almost pitch black circumstances, but he protects them with the goggles because there's a possibility of his going blind from heavy light exposure. Henceforth no one has really seen his eyes, because when he opens them, it's too dark for an ordinary person to see.

Oh lol um...it's because originally the idea centered around his bus and the bus's bringing people together, kind of like developing your own family through friends he'd pick up, but then the story got way more epic and Rathuni is a better title, as it means Weavers in Betalin.
