Description I created this script today to facilitate a faster method of making fractals after I created this one: [link]

It is extremely flexible and allows for alot of user interaction. Please feel free to address me with any comments/questions/suggestions. I'm happy to continue improving this script if you all like it/use it.

This is my first script, so any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is an example of the script's potential: [link]

The image was created by simply running the script, then rendering the image. Like anything with apophysis, the possibilities are limitless.

Please Note: This will work best with Apophysis 2.05 Z+ beta2.

The "potential" link 404's so either it has no potential, or it has unfound potential...

Yeah...I deleted that one a while back when I cleaned out my scraps folder. Didn't realize I had linked to it.

Yes, but not so easy to use in a few ways. Getting colors to respond is one. Then mostly when I run it I get a blurrrrr result of multitudes of dots. I've followed yr tips of moving T1 & T2 changing plugins, but most results only come when I put an FT on it or link xForms to T1, as I have in CPow Pixillated Vortexer [link] .

I do find a lot of joy in the Mutation Window choices too. But I'd love to be able to just run it and immediately come up with something strong and defined, like this beauty [link] (not yr script tho) but maybe it's just practice, so I'll keep trying.

hehe...I'll keep trying myself.
Sadly, I kind of forgot about this script. But I'll see what I can do to work on the coloring a bit more.
Thanks for the reminder and the inspiration!

I've modified it for my own use by putting the // in front of the clear so it overlays an existing flame.
Finding where to put the T1 xForm to locate vortex centre has been hit and miss but I have had some success - see these recent posts where I used it this way:

Bluesky over Wall Street [link] is an overlay on an (so far unposted) Escher impossible triangle base

Varanasi Burning Ghats [link] is an overlay of Mechanoid [link]

Maybe you could incorporate this feature if you revise it, with hints on how to position it. I'll look forward to any revised version that allows colors to work better, especially if you can reduce the blur fx & have an overlay version too. Meanwhile I'm still using it, as I type, despite the battles with recalcitrant blur & cols, it just takes patience....all the Big Learning Exp

Thanks! I'd really like to see what people are able to do with it. Quite excited about it, but as I create more, i'm sure that excitement will fade. But until then
