Description
This is my entry to the Apophysis Challenge #10: Grand JuliansCrackle plugin was used for the center in this design. I really wanted to try a grand julian with white as a primary color in the gradient. This is especially difficult when dealing with the weights of the style. As you can see, I ended up using a gradient with more of a grayish-white than white.
I'm certain, now that I've completed this render, that I'll give another go (or 4) at using a more predominate white gradient.

Hi! I made a tweak of your wonderful grand julian.....hope you will consider it acceptable as a tweak, as it results very similar to it.......if you don't, let me know, i shall withdraw it!
Thanks anyway for sharing your great talents!

I appreciate you letting me know. Nicely done!
That's why I've supplied them, so that fellow artists can learn from the parameters.
Thank you for the proper attribution.

Hey, I saw this and was absolutely delighted that you gave us your params. I made a tweak, but I was being stingy and wanted to preserve that gorgeous crackle you had o-o [link] is the result I got XD I really did your piece no justice whatsoever. Like, seriously. XD

Just beautiful... I wonder how much it would be to cover a 8' x 20' wall with that. Awesome

Thank you very much.
I think the problem may be caused by the way dA renders the parameters on their site.
You need to copy the parameters to notepad.
You'll notice that here on the site there is a in the parameters where it should say < palette>
Change that in notepad so that it reads < p alette> without the spaces and you should be good to go. Just paste those parameters from notepad into apophysis.

Thanks for your opinion. And yeah, it's quite different...and certainly less, well...elegant.
The grand julian is really one of my favorite styles for Apophysis, so I'll be giving a lot of other variations some tries as well. My next goal is a GJ with spiral in the center.
