Description
Official NPC for the group Rival-Gates

Helmstok the Excadrill

Helmstok is a hardy Excadrill known for his massive farm above the rift where he produces most of Rift City's food. Helmstok himself is a bit reclusive and is rarely seen about Rift City despite this status. He's stubborn and quick to anger and would rather work on his own and push himself to the limit then have to rely on others to get a job done. As his farm began to grow in size in correlation to the city's needs he finally did cave and hire a few laborers to help in his fields and with the delivery of crops back down to the city to be sold. It does appear Helmstok is without family or at least he isn't the one to chat about such things, but if anything he seems quite capable of holding his own.

Though lately he's been having problems with feral Pokemon coming onto his land to try and steal his crops. Normally he'd be able to scare off these vermin, but Helmstok has recently met his match at the hands of a hard hitting Diggersby...

You know, he's probably really proud that he could get that blade of grass in his mouth; his hands aren't the most dexterous, you see. Good for digging, not for picking.

I noticed the blades on his middle claws are awfully short. Have they been, by any chance, dulled by days and days of work out in the fields?

Heh, I guess you must have a HUGE list of messages that you have to go through once in a while. Respect.

I like spotting small details! I like seeing how artists go about their drawings, and sometimes the best details are the hard to see, if not invisible, ones.
