This is a picture of Yuna from FFX-2 (duh). I drew this a couple of months ago, the first time I'd picked up my pencil to do fanart in years, I think. I actually got quite excited about it and even colored it in a bit, as you can see. I'm not that great at Photoshopping, as I tend to have a looser style, and don't really care as much about being polished. Thus, I'd like to get better at lighting and color choice. Any good tips about Photoshop in terms of coloring and shading are welcome.Related content

I am Kyuubi16. I have to say I'm amazed at this pic. I've been requesting quite a bit of art for permission use as cover images.
While a few have said no, quite a few have said yes and I'm hoping you would be one of those ones. You see, I base stories off the images or use the images to enhance stories. Then I credit the source authors in summaries, often placing a link to their gallery when I load the stuff on Your Fanfiction.
Your Fanfiction is a new fanfiction site for the fans that allows MA fics and a deeper search engine. I'm hoping to encourage a new breed of good fanfiction and good/rare crossover couples in the future and gain more popularity for it.
Mainly because I'm trying to try new styles and stuff. Art like this helps inspire, enrich how the story is viewed and well, it inspires me to write. All and all I hope you do allow me to use this piece.
Also if you have to know anyone who wouldn't mind doing free requests I would like to know. I would to find someone who has a fondness for Naruto crossovers and wouldn't mind doing images based off scenes from my stories. Or if not Crossovers, just images for any series or characters because there is such few art for a lot of great characters.

It's a great picture, but it would be a perfect picture if the hair tail was drawn in, i find the best shading technique on photoshop is the layering technique.

I dunno, you seem to have a fairly good grasp on Photoshop here. Especially around the legs, they're very nicely shaded and blended with the purple background. The shoes are maybe a little too solidly brown, considering the rest of her and her clothing are blended with the background color so much... other than that, though, it looks very nice.
I like the pose and the attitude... Overall, beautiful job!

Colouring tip for ps
Make a new layer
Colour it in using no shading what so ever
Do a new layer for every colour
Burn and dodge light and dark
smudge the burn and dodge so it looks sort of 3D (this can take up to 1 hour, for a horse anyways
