Description
The next day the young man found the young maiden sitting in a flower garden in a quiet part of the land far off from the village. She lay there among the roses and lilies, but most of all, forget-me-nots. A grove of them everywhere, a beautiful little garden full of blue, white and pink, along with other flowers growing more formally. She seemed peaceful, looking up at the clouds as they whisked by.
“Iku?” Yakeo asked quietly, as not to startle her. Iku looked over, Yakeo sat down next to her, his red cape draping over the flowers. “How long have I known you, Iku?”
“Hmm,” She thought a moment, “ten years.”
“And how long have we been lovers?” Iku sat up next to Yakeo, “two years, why?” Yakeo grabbed her hand, “What would you think if that lasted forever?” Iku began to blush, she giggled a little, “I would love if it lasted forever.” She closed her eyes and smiled.
Yakeo took this moment to steal a kiss, Iku’s eyes flew open. That was the first time, they had ever met lips. The first time, she had ever kissed anyone.
She relaxed, Yakeo stood up, “Iku, can I ask you something?” she stood up with him, hand still in his.
“Anything.”
“In that case,” Yakeo began, “will you do me the honor of being my bride?” Iku tensed. Her face grew entirely red; Yakeo had also grown the same color.
“I,” She began…stuttering, trying to find words. She smiled. “Of course.” She said swiftly, “I wouldn’t want anything more.”
Yakeo took the ring out of the box and placed it on her finger. Iku quickly embraced him, holding him tight. Yakeo returned it; he now held his fiancée, no longer just his lover. He would never her go.

Okay well I'm bombarding y'all with Sunshine but oh well XD this is probably the first time in the past couple weeks I've drawn them happily together OTL and this would be the second kiss picture I've posted X3
I tried using the watercolor tool in SAI and I'm really liking it ^^ as well as I finally put a ton of effort into the background and I'm really pleased with how that came out *3*
If you couldn't tell they're sitting near the edge of a cliff and the rest is looking off into just fields

Also! This is my 200th deviation (picture-wise)
