I was wondering why she has so many suspiciously harpy-like features already *before* the transformation. Now found the bio and it all makes sense!

indeed the artist did a great job I even have a new 3 part reference pice ready that I just have not gotten around to posting yet.
also another part of backstory that I have not updated yet is that her grandmother was originally a harpy but used a similar magic potion to become a human in order to attempt to court Lacey's grandfather (which obviously worked) but sort of lead to a few of her families unusual features before her transformation and desire t fly (her grand parents never told anyone else about her grandmother begin a harpy
