As the three board the train, they anticipate the attractions and items that'll be found at the creative market. Bebe went headfirst in high-hopes that she'll find something suitable for Shay's birthday. However, Shion was thoroughly convinced that everything would look "rustic" and "home-made" which caused Bebe a great amount of concern. Shay would just be happy to find something that'll help in his work.
“...A-anyway, are you two hungry?!” Bebe's stomach churned at the thought of not finding a suitable present for Shay as she then quickly presented her home-made breakfast for the train ride.
Once they've made it to their destination, the group threaded through the plentiful variety of shops and stands. Bebe was definitely surprised to see that there were ingredients that weren't as easily accessible back home. There was even artisan cheese!
"Bebe! Look at this! You can hear the gears turn and everything!" Shion held a ballerina music box that appeared to have been made out of copper and bits of resin. Though the charm amused him, it wasn’t anything to write home about. Though, the fact that Bebe seemed to be so impressed by it made it a worthy find.
Meanwhile, Shay was intrigued by the fact that the merchant was selling lapping fluid that would prove to make sharpening his tools and weapons more efficient. Looks like the creative market was full of surprises after all!
Nearing the end of the afternoon, Shion and Bebe were attracted to all sorts of food stands. They settled on getting some parfaits with high-quality yogurt and the freshest fruits.
"I don't need anything fancy." Shay insisted as both of them were concerned since he didn’t seem to be interested in the same thing they were. Upon noticing Shay was watching a vendor roasting up some sweet potatoes, Bebe took it upon herself to go over and order one as it was being made.
Shay happily took his snack as they continued to find a lovely place to sit down and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Shion wanted to do something for him as well, so he offered a taste of his cafe au lait. But upon handing it to Shay, he bumped into the table and spilt the drink all over his lap. Whoops!
