Well, now that I got that out, on to the actual critique part ^^
I really love the way you're going with digital art, but I really want to recommend to you something I unfortunately didn't figure out till later, but you should play around with line weight and flow.
For example: The lines be thicker in some areas to show that it's closer, or heavy almost, or thinner in others to show light or thin areas.
Though, I know this is a Reference, and as a reference alone, I think it's great. You get the character across and proudly display the colors (so people don't have to use the eyedropper tool which can be a pain, much obliged)
I just think you should play around with that for a bit, since this seems to be a really line based style (which isn't bad, trust me, I'm the same ^^)
Keep up the good work though, can't wait to see what you come up with next C:
