Let's see, an animal that travels through space carrying firearms... Why does that somehow remind me of Star Fox?
Aside from that, Rocky (Yes, I nicknamed this guy because no matter how badass he is, it just doesn't cancel out the cuteness factor in his design) will be an awesome character and probably will capture the hearts of girls and Japanese fans (he's a raccoon, a cute animal). So maybe he'll be the next Cable... though if they make him crawl, then projectiles would have a real hard time to hit!

Meh, I'm not much of a Squirrel Girl fan. Rocket's way more awesome and badass. But hey, that's just me.
BTW, I can somehow see an image that would really get a rise out of the haters; Mega Man's walking towards the application booth for characters to appear in UMvC3, but before he can get in, Rocket comes out and shoots him, then goes in himself.
