Easy, go to a really dark place away from the city, point your camera to the sky for about 20 sec with maximum aperture and high iso (3200), with the tripod, and let it shoot!

No, maximum aperture, if it is 3.5 do it 3.5, if it is 2.8 do it 2.8...

Widest angle of the lens, in your case i suppose it is 18mm
