hey hey everyone! long time no see, life has been a bit crazy ;w;

lots has happened in the last two months! I moved in with my partner, got a real job in my field doing art, and ummm.. idk i made nachos a few times. but those first two are definitely Very Big Life Changes. I'm very grateful that I've been able to stay healthy the last six months, I hope you've all been safe as well!

As for ties that bind, I have made a big decision - moving forward I will lnot be doing full comic pages - rather a set of a few 'panels' mixed into a written story. At this point, the way I've plotted out TTB's events lends itself well to this. This would also allow me to create more content a lot quicker.

After the next page which is about 80% finished, I will continue the comic as mixed media - If yall remember that illustration I posted a few months back, the illustrations would be similar to that but with a bit more polish - fixed aspect ratio, no text bubbles, and a few per "chapter." Along with that each chapter would cover a lot more content than the pages I've posted thus far. The chapters would be posted as PDFs to dA and plain text + PDF to the nuzlocke forums, and I'll likely pull TTB from other comic hosting sites since it's not really going to be a comic anymore ;w;

The only think I'm not 100% sure about writing is battles - I'm just not sure I could take pokemon seriously enough to write like, death scenes and all that lmao. We'll see - fortunately we still have a while before the next battle, but I may make those full comic pages.

But! i digress, Ties that Bind will continue soon - I'm just taking my time to update the script and get a feel for the new format. I'm looking forward to finally continuing the story! Thank you so much to those who've stuck with me as life took me on a fucking ride - I hope you've enjoyed the story enough thus far that you'll continue to support it, despite such huge changes

also for context on this image - mayhaps these are the three main characters... Ava is ofc the protagonist and you've seen a fair amount of Hugh content, so I'm looking forward to really introducing y'all to Cheren :3c
