Something else I managed to do during my art block. I didn't post this one on my tumblr, because it was more geared toward my roleplaying with my friend. I don't really like how the finished version of this turned out, so I'm only posting the lineart. (If you want to see the finished version, you can see that here. The white chains are of light and represent something important he needs to avoid getting trapt in. The chains aren't present in the lineart because these are the same old chain links I've used in a few other pictures of mine... I copy and paste a link at a time. xD)Hmmm.... *copypastes description from other recent picture to save time*
Anyway this is my Riku replica/Repliku and his new outfit. This a version that survived Chain of Memories and somehow met up with Xehanort’s Heartless after that explosion at the end of KH2 and now is going to show everyone why he IS the better Riku. Or something. That pretty much sums all my roleplaying with this character up in a fast nutshell. I’ve drawn him a few times and you’ll see a few pictures of him on deviantart. -w- This one and this one.
...man I love doing vector lineart.

They're the same chains (I just do one link copied on top of another) I used in [link] and more recently in [link] - and there's definitely a connection. ^^

i just flipped my computer upside down to see how he looked right side up and my siblings gave me the strangest looks...but beside the point he's lookin' super delish an di'm not sure if it's just me but his clothes looks a little tighter than usual.

In a way I think the extra tightness of his clothes in this picture have to do with the theme behind it itself and I did it without realizing it. The clothes that he wears right now are only copies of his real clothes, weaved out darkness. (there are a number of reasons why one would keep only a copy of their clothes - magical properties that would provide extra resistance to some elements... or simply because outfits can be magically switched in and out without the need to actually undress. xD) The picture itself has him suspended in light and (in the colored version I linked to in the description) the chains are also made from light... light and darkness, not getting along well, might cause his clothes to do any number of things (from shrink to burn).

It looks really awkward if its flipped upside down. I think most upside down 'smexy' poses end up that way. xD

But, I like it. The lines are nice and clean. Whenever I do linearts and stuff, it's always uneven and messy looking.
Smexy upside down pictures make me want to go upside down so I can see better...If that makes sense. For some reason, when stuff isn't right side up, I think it confuses my brain.
But I'm someone who thinks any Riku is just smexy...lol.
