I felt like drawing the main characters in my little comic series in a different style of drawing. I wanted Jen to look as dumb as possible that is why she is picking her nose.Related content

Ah... I realize you didn't actually request a detailed "critique" of this sketch; but before I knew it, a few simple comments had blossomed into… well... I guess u can see the following:
Well, u certainly succeeded in making her look "dumb." She ALSO looks as if she's been smoking pot for, oh, maybe 18 hr/day, 6-7 days/week, for maybe the past 8-12 months! I have a question, though; r they identical twins (as the general facial structure seems to indicate), cause if they r, what caused Jen's... ah... upper female attributes to... like... vanish?
Oh, I AM just curious, the title for this piece "Pick and choose;" is it a bit of a play on Jen's activity that COULD be described as... "Pick and... (cringing at the mental image this next word shoves into the forefront of the reader's brain)… Chews."
As for the drawing itself, Janet is particularly well drawn with ample, but proportionally accurate "front-facing female features." The dress/top is also a perfect match w/her apparent age, ample endowment, and relative overall body size/type. Her facial expression of shock & disgust is also well captured. As for hair I also feel Janet's hair style/length was just perfect for the overall character's look & feel.
As for sister Jen, her "lack" of frontal real-estate, the crude nose picking, the lack of feminine clothing, and her more taunt, drawn face all point in the direction of a long time spent abusing drugs, and/or a significantly harder life. She also appears to JUST b coming off a multi-24hrs/day 24hrs/day bender.
Janet's "severe" reaction to her sister's "public" nose picking could also be the result of her stressing about her sister's over-all health and physical/mental well-being.… Or, she just might REALLY be totally freaking on the whole public finger up the nose-cone incident!
I'm extremely new here, having stumbled across this site during a web search & really have NO CLUE how to "act" appropriately within the community. If I've overstepped boundaries by critiquing something for which no critiquing was requested, please let me know.
One final note, I'm looking forward to more pages of your comic.

Oops. Well, this is awkward. I guess I'm not the genetics genius i thought i was. Please accept my apology for that. I think I opened my keyboard & said that the 1st day here... another lesson; study, learn about the character & artist b4 saying dumb stuff. After learning, then it's OK to say dumb stuff (cause then it's an educated dumb guess 
Is it proper or acceptable ediquette to comment when new or new to that person's work? Or is there like a time period or b a "watcher" or "member" first? Thanks for any help.
