Yes, this shot is taken from a plane!------------
I believe i was flying over Kansas when this shot was taken... Kansas or Colorado... Taken at around 7PM EST on August 24th. I was coming home from Connecticut and whipped out my camera in the plane
cool stuff out there.------------
The star in the upper right was added by me btw.. hehe

This shot is the sex. I love how the light fades to almost dark at the top. Gotta say..nice little touch with the random star. And the clouds just look delicious. PLUS! Excellent utilizaion of the rule of thirds here!

Very nice shot - when you get a clean aeroplane window the views are awesome.
Out of interest, do you know what the bright point is? If it's an astronomical object I'd guess Venus or Sirius, but it could just be another plane... not sure.

These kind of shots are always nice; between snow and clouds, the eye is always a bit fooled
