I am definitely pans. And I don't say it cuz I consider it a fad or to make me look cool. I've dated a transgendered person before. :U

Would pan-sexuality be considered a branch off from bisexuality, though? Just curious.

I guess it could be, but I don't personally see sexual orientations as being sort of... "linear" like that, if that makes sense.

I had never heard of the term but once it was explained I loved it. I have always said I love to love not I love one gender, species, age etc. so this is an awesome stamp! thanks!

I definitely agree, and this is coming from someone who's easily fascinated with studious prefixes and suffixes.

I don't want to be rude or anything, but would you mind explaining the difference? I've never been clear on it and I don't want to offend anyone by accidentally using one when I should be using the other.

Bisexuality refers to attraction to both boys and girls, while pansexuality refers to attraction to people regardless of their gender (including people who are outside of the gender binary).

Ah, that makes sense. Thank you. The last person I asked said that it "only applies in a sci-fi sense when there are more than two sexes". I thought that felt limited.

Yeah, they were definitely wrong about that. (Not to mention pretty offensive.)

I kind of agree. I think she got it from a class where the professor is known to not be terribly open minded.

That's true. I'm technically pansexual, but I just use bisexual since its easier :/
