Updated 12/28/03 changed all the black text to white looks allot better now. Thanks for all the comments here on DeviantArt and WinCustomize. This is my first Winamp, comments please. I'm using Winamp 5 so I only Skinned the 3 main windows, because the other windows don't show up skinned, I don't know why. Alpha OS [link] is a windowblind skins by Adni 18. It looks like it was made in winamp skin maker. The buttons are quite similar to a default template, and the backgrounds are all the same picture. Sure it's not the worst skin I've seen, but DD? I mean wtf? Sorry to be sounding harsh but this is no Nucleo or MMD. Also I hate not being able to tell what values my sliders have. And the sides of the playlist window are ugly.

The thing that irks me is the button style, they stick out like a sore thumb, I dont know what possessed you to use black as the font colour, its the only blank in the whole skin. Also that repeat icon needs smoothing desperatly. My advice is dont be scared to change the appearance of all the buttons, the default buttons are rather ugly, make them your own, make them fit and this will be a much better skin for it

there certainly are skins more deserving of a DD
nice work tho. saying i dont think this is DD material doesnt mean the work you put into this skin isnt appreciated. keep skinning
next time put some more work into the buttons mainly, they seem very basic, almost skinner-ish..

No offense, but how the heck did this get a Daily Deviation spot? I mean seriously its okay, but its rather boring and amatuer...this certainly isn't bad but dosen't deserve a DD in my books.

Very, very nice. I LOVE the blue tones in it, plus the silver.
And just because those happen to be my absolute favourite colours in the world ... that doesn't mean I'm biased

I am no master skinner, but,...*cough*, please. This got a DD,...personally I don't see why. It matches another theme, yes, but the overall feel and look for this skin doesn't work. Sorry.

I agree with you though. This skin isn't very creative. Too much boxiness to it, also. Good for a first skin, though... at least it's not one of those automatic skin things.
