HOLY CRAP I LOVE THESE BOIS!!!!! I REEAALLLYYY HOPE THEY GET A GOOD HOME QWQ!!! Honestly it was like SOOOO much fun designing them XD! And if these sell well I'm probably gonna do a lot more in the future

I think this is more of a personal preference? Idk
when it comes to adopts, a good idea is to not really add shading, unless it's very minimum, as it can cause color picking issues (the shading could blend together with the actual color(s), causing someone to pick the wrong color, be confused with markings, ect.). However, if you have a flatcolor of the adopt lying around that you can give to people who may want it, then what I said before doesn't really matter.
oof please don't take this is as me bashing your hard work/shading. I do think the shading looks really nice and helps them pop
By very minimum, I mean something like below the jaw or behind the ear or something like that. Just a tad bit of shading to make something pop just a little. Things like gradients or blurry/soft shading can be confused with colors or markings (unless the markings are gradients).
Of course, if you have a flat color lying around, then no need to worry, I'd say.

Oh yeah! That’s why I always keep a flat version in my files and note it to the winner when the purchase their adoptable XD! And I remember clearly my anxiety was going haywire while I was adding the shading XD!!
im pretty sure the thoughts that were going through my head consisted of it looking more eye catching and I didn’t want anyone stealing the design (even though no one would cause they’re terrible XD)

Hm. Probably. I must note though that when I got a little check from my computer the tech people restarted it, so the saved file may not have the layers? And if not I can make a color palette! I just have to wait till I get home :3
