Very nice for your first time. The effect you used on the eyes made them look a little bland/uneven, but everything else is great. What I try to do with the eyes is bring out the color and/or add sprites etc. to it. But bland might have been what you were going for, I know I do that sometimes too... Hmm... I have no real critique's to give
