An angel descends before meits beauty incomprehensible,
its love undeserved
But it loves nonetheless
None the less nor more, it loves me.
It swears to protect
Despite my choices or desires, it is
My angel.
To follow me till the ends of earth
To the bluffs of heaven
Far within the depths of hell.
I am grasped in arms of steel
While cloaked in blankets of down.
I stare into eyes of bronze
Cast to a canvas of white pearl.
Beneath its smiles
Beneath the humors of one who has never lived
Inside the mind of one who has seen most
I am loved
And my sole purpose is to love back.
