Squall and Rinoa make one of my favorite couples, in part because of how strongly they act their contrasting, complimenting personalities. Squall is self-reliant, pragmatic, and a realist, though emotionally immature. Rinoa is outgoing, emotive, and passionate, though socially immature.

Given Squall's military upbringing and Rinoa's youthful energy, I admit there's a bit of wish fulfillment in it in being able to put myself in Squall's shoes, but I guess that's the core goal of an RPG.

I don't know what would drive Rinoa to parade like a toddler would without her shorts or skirt, but as crazy as it drives Squall now, I'm sure it'll endear her to him in time.

I tried something new in regards to shading; instead of considering only a source of light, I tried to a small degree to give a sense of depth.
