Description
50 million years in the future, the swamps on Earth are no longer inhabited by mammals and birds. Instead, huge lizards, amphibians, insects and other invertabrates dominate the swamp. The creatures shown here (From left to right) are:
- Blue-legged beaked dragon: This strange reptile feeds on aquatic plants and is about 6 to 9 feet long. It's ancestors are unkown.
- Swamp Flower: The 25 feet tall swamp flower isn't a flower at all. It's ancestors are sea-anemones who craweled from the sea onto to the land 25 million years earlier. Baby Swamp Flowers are still born in the water, but before they crawl onto the land, they absorb algea to obtain their chloroplasts and once on land, they can produce their own food by photosynthesis.
- Swampdasher: This dinosaur like frog feeds on large bugs.
- Purple Bedbug: Purple bedbugs are giant decendants of the modern day bedbugs. These scavengers feed on dead plant and animal material to keep the swamp clean from any deadly bacteria. Purple Bedbugs can grow up to 2 - 3 feet in lenght.
I hope you guys like these new creatures ^^

Nice work, as always! Definitely a creative edge to these creatures, and I like how you've chosen 'backseat' creatures, those who are less popular or less known than other animals, to evolve. I think the Swamp Flower is definitely the most interesting animal on here, especially how they live on land now and not just exculsively in the sea. I think the Purple Bedbug would freak me out if I ever saw a real one. 2-3 feet for any bug is scary to me.
