I only take credit for the jokes I mainly come up with and for the work of carefully selecting and putting the images together. Well in Chichi's defense... im actually surprised she didnt divorce him. VEGETA turned out to be a better husband and father than Goku in the long run. Goku is constantly leaving his family, at first it was understandabe, cuz he would keep dying and stuff but him leaving after the buu saga, i dont think that was necessary.

not saying it was right cuz it wasn't. but that was before he became both a husband and a father. He's changed for the better since then. Even chichi says vegeta is more dependable even if he isn't as nice as goku

Goku is a bad parent, He loves them but parenting skills he just does not have. But if Chi-chi had not been there like say she died form pregnancy or something Goku would have taken Gohan on all his adventures.

Crap. This time I wasn't attentive at all at the link. I usually use screenshots and avoid using works of art of others as much as possible. I only use any other art when I can't find the image I like or suitable for the comic. But when I use someone's work from DEVIANTART, the least I can do is to credit them. hahahh I just feel sorry for Piccolo lol. With Chichi's attitude no wonder Goku stayed away for so long. Although she did a pretty good job of raising the kids, I have to give her credit for that.

I think Goku would have been better being alone. It's not that he doesn't deserve or love his family, I actually read a lot of comments saying he's a terrible father while making this panel, but just...even though he grew up in body, his mind remained of a kids' and his marriage was either way forced on him by Chi-Chi, or he fooled himself thinking it was food. I don't think he would have/should have agreed to it if he knew the true truth.

Well back in DB Goku did think that marriage was a kind of food.
In a way, he was kinda a bad father as he wasn't there most of the time etc but he still loved his family and did everything he could to protect them etc.
Im still glad that he did get married though, otherwise there wouldn't have been a Gohan or Goten. But I agree that he's still a child at heart, or rather he never learned how to be an adult. He must have been fun to be around though and like Chichi says, you can't stay mad at him for long.
He's just Goku and we have to accept him for who he is. lol

Now a lot of you hate on Goku for dying and leaving Gohan (and Goten) alone. The first one of these was to save Gohan! A father sacrificing his life for his son isn't enough to be called a good dad!? The second time was Gohan's fault for not finishing Cell. Would you rather Goku allow everyone to die? Would that make him a good father? Goddamn
