Well, he's one of the best characters in Goosebumps. You should start by reading his books or see him in action in the movie.
Look, Goosebumps may be for kids, but everyone who grew up with it from childhood still has love for it. So, I'm one of those people who grew up with Goosebumps.

I want to see the movie so I will check that out. There's a lot of things that is for kids, I grew up with Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, etc that supposedly is for kids but I still enjoy them as an adult.

Goosebumps is actually the first horror-like thing for kids, but it's when it's fun to be scared, and move on to the real horror stuff.
You should check out the movie. It's really that good.

I just watched Goosebumps, I liked it. I was aware of the books when I was younger but didn't know much about it till now. It was good, reminded me of other movies like jumanji, neverending story, etc. Its a good movie for kids and the family. I liked all of the characters, I wanted to see more of the pumpkin guy. Are they planning a sequel?

The sequel was planned, but they need a screenwriter for it. Hope the sequel is based on Horrorland. You really should read that one. The first one is One Day at Horrorland.
If you're interested in the books, there are some really good ones, but some can be a bit bad. You can look up the reviews of the original ones that are from the 90s.

I ordered two more books from ebay. I ordered Return to Horrorland, and The Streets of Panic Park. I wanted to collection the books that had Slappy in it since he is my favorite. I'm still gonna order Bride of the Living Dummy.

Well, Haunted Mask episode was good. Night of the Living Dummy 3 episode was a bit better than the book. Ghost Next Door episode was...okay.
Few episodes are alright. Still, the books are better.
