Description
Dewpaw's claws stuck to the bark, his paw pads stung- whether from the splinters sitting out of them or the fresh blood oozing about the battle field, he was not sure. With a final huff he was again in the trees, his view both spectacular and gory as cats ripped on other cats. He spotted many a fallen feline, friend or foe he could not tell- for their pelts were matted with their own insides. He shivered, balancing heavily on a high branch. He could no longer feel his legs, they were numb with exhaustion and his tail, once straight out and ready for maneuverability in the trees lay limp, dangling like a flag without wind. Breathing through his teeth the apprentice crouched. One more He thought If I can fight one more cat, we can win... He promised himself, pushing his head out of the canopy of leaves.
Scouting below he found what looked like another apprentice, the she-cat was sandy white with tan markings. Her soft fur looked stiff with blood, and her eyes as red as the crimson that marked her. Dewpaw took aim, she was fighting another one of his clanmates, she wouldn't notice him until *CRACK*
Dewpaw's eyes shot open and he whipped his head around, the branch he was on was dead and... breaking!!!
Panicking Dewpaw turned to leap off, but in his fatigue he was too late and the branch fell with him. With a screeching yowl he turned his body, getting ready for the worst as he collided- not with the hard ground- but a warm, wiggling body. He blacked out, muddled cracking and screaming around him as the branch and it's arms trapped him below. He struggled, in and out of consciousness- his claws throwing away twigs and fur alike.
Finally he saw sunlight, and through it he lept from the bundle of prison like branches. He fell to the ground, his breath haggard. He looked down at the pile of branches, unable to see below the foliage of leaves that fell with them. His head spun, but among the chaos he found a tuft of fur in his claw, a tuft of sandy white.

and so, quite accidentally, Dewpaw killed the SnowClan apprentice Poppypaw- such a bloody and spectacularly horrible death it was too... RIP little apprentice vnv

Dewpaw hasn't even fully realized it yet, but when he does he'll be in a world of pain... he's a gentler cat, knowing he hurt let alone killed someone will definitely damper his week ah

anyways I was away on vacation, so I am only posting this today. Sorry for the horrible quality, the actual picture is much larger... I'm going to attempt to re-scan it. Hopefully though this is alright as is.
