honestly in xps you did a lot of work for nothing..

xps is not accurate like a 3d software.. so.. import your model in blender, on a second layer import the second, back on the first.. remove all the parts you don't need like weapons and so on.. ctrl+j to join all. back on the second. hold shift and click on both the layers to show them both.. move the second model on the first and pose like the first (be sure you have the option "keep bones layout" otherwise when you come back from pose mode and you delete the armature the bones comes in their original position... then do what you did in your tut.. boneweight copy and so on...

i did all that i use pose mode to show that outfit moves with the body and also how to scale both models with root hip. so they match up to one another, in blender when u import them in and i put the models on dif layers and showed how to move layers too
