Description
new challenge,done from scratch, used many reference pictures - all for haircuts, and characters' individuality
aim was to show the whole ghost group from claymore, landscape you see could (should?) be interpreted as passage to northern lands (if you read claymore you know)
i tried to portray armor and clothes as closely as possible, made few changes/decisions about some elements,also i tried to show each character's personality
finally i was able to draw some other claymore characters too
this was a challenge for many reasons, composition (many elements) and style the biggest ones, then sword reflection, landscape and many other things
the sword alone didnt just came out right on the first try, but after coming back to it to improve, it got better
i literally spent 2 hours figuring out how to make it shine and another 1 hour of transforming Mirias picture onto the sword to make the reflection believable, i browsed for some references on the sword but in the end found none and had to simply predict how would the light react
im sure there are countless irregularities tough
critique and comments are most welcomed
photoshop + paint SAI, about 50 raw hours

the exception was Clarice, but she was concidered a"DEFECTUOS PRODUCT" by the others camarades, presacely because her non blond hair. PLEASE DOND CHANGE OUR LOVELY MANGA CHARACTERS from this amazing story

ok, I am not a pro, but I can see some inconsistencies in this picture. Do not take it as harsh critique, I just want to help you improve.
First thing I noticed I Helen: She has some greenish color(maybe only in face).
Tabitha: Her face is somehow flat. This I mentioned more times in your pictures
Swords in general: I think that the handles do not go so far into the blade. The handle should be not more than 1/3 of the whole sword. Helens handle is 1/2 of the sword
Shades on the ground. I would add few more from Cynthia, Tabitha and Deneve
So and what I especially like, so I don't just critique, is Yuma.. She looks so tiny and cute.. And she has the "no f**k was given that day" look, which is nice badass

thx for pointing out some mistakes.. i will try to fix them later, when i have clear sight of things, spending many hours on one piece makes it burn into my head and drawing in such state is impossible

Wow... first off 50 plus hours. That is commitment.
Your skills are way beyond mine but just so you don't get a ton of comments solely saying they love it or what's with the hair I'll give a few other critiques for the sole purpose of hoping it will help your later works be even better. First off all the faces need a bit of work, especially Helen she looks too flat, I also think her reaction is more of that for a camera pose than a natural "Helen" pose; Deneve her face just seems distorted, a bit, also she appears older than she should be; as to her pose she strikes me as the sort to be staring ahead and off into the distance or at Helen being a fool again, also her lips need at least some color if you give the others red lips (something like Clare's would do); I have no problem with Cynthia's face but I just personally feel she should have a bigger smile; ss to Tabitha the inverse is true her pose of watching Miria is great but her forehead and hair line seem abnormal, not bad mind you but noticeable; As to Miria I just feel her hair should be a bit longer and even though not about her face her breasts are by far the largest of the ghosts yet her she appears a distant runner up to Clare (who's breasts do get larger after her merger with Raphaela for some unexplained reason 
Now as too Yuma, GREAT JOB! Her feel is perfect (though once again she appears like she's posing for a camera and not in a natural look but it feel like her still so I don't care), her skin tone is way better than the others even though it is close to the others too (maybe why you had such a hard time with the hair tones since I think just about any blonde hair tone would clash with the green in the shin tone of the others, food for thought anyways).
I love how you did the legs, the flow of light around them just feels so natural... however I still wish the shin tone was a bit more like Yuma's but even still it looks very nice.
The black handles for the swords is an choice I haven't seen before, it works here very well however if you think about it it would clash with there old uniforms so I don't think the org would color them such (maybe the ghosts painted them or something
Overall a great fan art of Claymore, that while could be better is still one of the best damn ones out there. Can't wait to see your next Claymore fanarts

i really appreciate you exhausting critique, it looks like you spent time to analyze and you have good knowledge of claymore to notice all kinds of litle but important details
ill check it thoroughly and make a revision, thx, this kind of reply really helps
the worst thing for me when drawing something is that the way i see it after while gets distorted and something that is off looks good to me, flipping canvas helps great deal but is not enough to cover some kinds of mistake (like face proportions)

about the hair color in the picture
1 - style - just making something different
2 - color composition - blue sky+snowy mountains
3 - after having done some claymore drawings before blonde/silver/brown color tones all failed me - i had problems with it so i experimented

really? im glad to hear that, actually i always imagined Hysteria or Teresa absolutely blonde, but Miria much more brown - cant help it
and by failed i mean these silver/blonde weak colors are hard to do for me, they always are faded out, weak or something

actually in the books it states they all have silver hair. but the anime took liberties and gave them blonde and brown hair to add differences to them.

actually i saw anime before manga so so i consider anime's color the real one

Ignore what he said... the author/artist of the manga (Yagi) said nothing of the sort and has drawn them repeatedly with blonde hair every time he has done a colored page, even in chapter 1 (Miria a shade darner but not quite as dark as the mangas, there are different shades of blonde after all xD) and silver eyes. See for yourself [link] Though I'm assuming you've already seen that pic since you drew them as the ghosts which weren't in the anime.

checked the anime - they are blond its just that all the colors are faded out, personally i like it - goes well with medieval/old themes
