Yeah, as the Nostalgia Critic says, that rabbit is like a Greek tragic-hero... those kids are so damn selfish that they won't even share their Trix with him!

I'm also reminded of the Family Guy gag. While I'm not a fan of that show (at all), this is another distinct possibility. I'm telling you, Silly is all set to snap!

Heh, surprised that hasn't already happened!

When life hands you lemony lemons...I'm happy to see there is camaraderie among cartoon advertisement bunnies. Will he go to the grave with the bitter taste of compensatory froot loops fouling his last breaths? or will these ageist youths revoke their seemingly arbitrary breakfast commandment? and at the very least, allow Silly a last meal which he can truly call a complete breakfast? I'm almost afraid that such an occasion, considering the disappointment I personally feel Silly would experience after all the years of build-up, may be enough to send him over the edge of sanity (which I feel hes been flirting with for some time now) and into a deep dark place. A licensed psychiatrist might suggest he let his anger out instead of bottling it in. They might also refer him to Fred Flintstone for peer counselling. After all, Fred has been through very similar breakfast disappointments with his fruity/cocoa pebbles, and breakfast-stealing savant, Barney Rubble.

When you add that Fred is cashing in on major kharma nowadays in the claymation spots...Barney mutates into other creatures with every bite it seems.

But really, perhaps the next essay to follow "Cereal Killer" should be "Breakfast Wars"! Cookie Cop & Crook? Toucan Sam & nephews vs. "Freak Of The Week"? The honey-loving predators that Buzz the Bee keeps battling? And don't get me started about the many other 'scots who have run-ins with greedy kids. I think that Dig 'Em, Sugar Bear, The Cinnamon Toast Crunch bakers & King Vitamin are wise to stay out of the public eye.

For some reason, I can imagine those kids taking the bowl of cereal from the rabbit, despite him being desperately hungry or something... Come on kids, he's not an agent of evil or anything, he just wants a bowl of cereal... that coincidentally has his face on it. lol

Before we go any further on this subject, I have to accredit for the inspiration that came from a wonderful rendering of Silly's own younger relatives denying him; not only the cereal, but the yogurt as well!!

I've felt bad for Silly Rabbit for as long as I can remember. When they did the "Vote" campaign back in the '80s, over one of the election years, I recall voting "Yes" (as in, give the poor guy some Trix), and the "yea" votes actually won, but they rigged it in some way as to deny him the Trix again! (Should have seen that coming.) In retrospect, I don't think the Rabbit would have enjoyed quite the long and unproductive career he has if he had been granted the Trix voluntarily. It's amazing how much this subject is discussed on the net! It's a real tripping point with people.

I'll just say, those brats shouldn't push Silly too far, or something like THIS will happen...
