In addition to Waternoose's arrest by the CDA near the end of Pixar's Monsters, Inc, here's a scene that should've occurred just afterwards... on TV:

News Anchor: "Good afternoon ladies & gentlemonsters. Right now, we have breaking news from well-known scare company Monsters, Incorporated, where chairman Henry J. Waternoose III has been apprehended by the Child Detection Agency for masterminding a secret conspiracy to abduct human children from their world & forcefully remove their screams using an unethical machine known as the Scream Extractor in an attempt to stop the energy crisis that has been plaguing the company & all of Monstropolis. As a result, Waternoose is also indirectly responsible for the human child incident taking place @ the Harryhausen's sushi bar in the inner-city area. The machine's designer & Waternoose's accomplice, 2nd-top scarer Randall Boggs, is reported missing from the scene, & with his crimes exposed as well, the CDA has now implanted a $1,000,000 reward for Boggs' capture. Even now, the CDA is working hard to dismantle the already-damaged device. The fate of the human child in question remains classified & is not likely to be released to the public. With Waternoose's trial scheduled for next Tuesday, it certainly comes as a great blow to the power company. With the scandal facing scrutiny from investors, the board of directors are struggling to save what goodwill the company has garnered over the years on top of dealing with the looming energy crisis.
