For my 1st 2023 upload, here's my 1st use of the "What if Actor/Actress voiced a Character?" meme; I myself used to believe the late Samuel E. Wright (well known for the voice of Sebastian in Disney's The Little Mermaid) was the voice of Captain Tarpals, the aged captain of the Gungan Grand Army in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, since I thought he kinda sounded like Kron from Dinosaur, another feature film in Disney's animated canon. However, it turns out Tarpals was actually voiced by none other than Steven Speirs instead, so I took the pleasure of imagining my original belief using the meme. If SEW was cast as Tarpals, Fred Tatasciore would likely have still been the voice of the character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars since SEW retired from acting around 2008, 13 years before his passing in 2021. & if he was the voice of Tarpals, would he still have been the latest Star Wars actor to fall? Anyways, credit goes to Darknega34, & happy New Year's Day!
