So as several of us are aware, the Dirty Bubble, the arch-nemesis of Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy from SpongeBob, was voiced by the late Charles Nelson Reilly in his 1st appearance ("Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy II"), as well as the video game Lights, Camera, Pants!, & Tom Kenny starting with the episode "Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy V"; well, here's a fun alternate imagination of mine: what if he was instead originally voiced by comedian Gilbert Gottfried until his death in 2022, making voice-acting icon Rob Paulsen the current voice of this scoundrel since then, especially since Paulsen's voice as Technus from Danny Phantom, another Nickelodeon series, sounds almost like a rendition of Gottfried? I, unlike most fans, commonly support the occasional rule of recasting animated characters with new VAs after the original passes away instead of just Thanos-snapping them from the show (aside from mute cameos), so I thought this reimagination might be cool
