...the picture is just amazing!and when i read the description part, the words of J.R.R Tolkien *shivers*. . .absolutely mindblowing!
I admire the work of Tolkien sooo much and especially The Lord of the Rings and this picture reminded me just why i love his work. To the viewer, it brings this feeling of. . .of. . .umm like its a memory, like ive been taken back in time for just a glance and what ive seen is that image. . . im searching for words right now and i just cant seem to find the right ones...this picture has rage,horror,love,almost bitter sweet sadness. . .waiting,leaving,things that are lost and new hope

very interesting piece. there are nice motives involved and realized.
the composition is would have also been good if the important parts of the picture were more striking.
the way you styled this picture is too blurry i think. more distinctive shapes and contrasts would be better.
on the other hand, the colour you chose are very great. the first impression is i get is very strikung, but it
cannot convince me on the second view. it's not distinctive enough. but, and that must be said, it looks great.

That is a great picture, it's LOTR influenced I'm asuming but it looks like you added quite a bit of your own flavour to it. I like the misty feeling you did around a fair ammount of the water, I love the colors and I just like the picture all together...looks good
oh and I like the LOTR quote, kinda depressing the way he put it in the movie..

I really liek the gloomy atmosphere you're creating here. At first glance I do think that there's too much going on - the eyes don't really rest anywhere. I do think you've managed to blend these different pictures together in a way, so that the perspectives still works - regarding to size of buildings, air perspective etc.
