wow, i'm such a geek for making/posting this!basically i'm pretty sure that i was supposed to be one of those kids that spent all their days copying comic books. not that i'm particularly good at or anything, i just love the style - the dramatic poses, the stark colouring, and the exagerrated foreshortening. did i ever gain respect for comic book artist when i did this... the inking alone took longer than i thought it would. (the colouring, as a result, is somewhat rushed)
well, this piece could obviously use more work as i didn't even finish the inking on the jacket. and never mind the craptacular job i did on the cards!
anyway, it's my first water colour experiment.

I am totally into comic art these days as well. I just love their style and detail. I'm so happy to see some comic pieces up here! I really love his boots and abdominal region. The colouring and linework are excellent there. Well done
