History
Kithood
Pigeonflight and Swallowheart were a much older couple when they finally had kits together. Oldest out of the litter of three, Fawnkit was born to them along with her two brothers, Smokekit and Hawkkit. Her mother didn't spend too much time with her kits as the birth has been rough on her. She never really left the nursery so Fawnkit and her brothers ended up spending a lot of time with their father when they left the nursery. She spent most of her time play fighting with her brothers as they loved to do mock fights.
Apprenticeship
Soon the day came for the three kits to be apprentices. Now Fawnpaw, she started off her apprenticeship with Haretail. She grew close to Haretail, seeing him a great friend. Haretail was an easy-going tom who always seemed cheerful and making a joke about something. She stayed determined and trained hard with her mentor to be the best she could be.
Moons passed as Fawnpaw trained as an apprentice. She had become closer to her brother, Smokepaw as Hawkpaw became more boastful and rash. Hawkpaw soon became more distant from his siblings as he went on to be so boastful and rash. She had also made another close friend, Petalpaw.
One day, Fawnpaw had gone out on a hunting patrol with Haretail, Hawkpaw, and Sunshimmer. They had gone out to hunt over by the barn. The patrol had split up into pairs to hunt more effectively; Haretail with Fawnpaw and Hawkpaw with Sunshimmer. While Haretail and Fawnpaw were hunting, a large dog had spotted them and came running after them. With the dog barking wildly behind them, Haretail and Fawnpaw were running away from it as it came closer to them.
Tripping on a rabbit hole, Fawnpaw fell crashing into the ground, scratching her nose against a rock. The dog soon caught up to her and leaped at her. It ended up pouncing on top of her, causing the scars on her flank. The dog wasn't on her for very long though as Haretail has jumped at it. Fawnpaw scrambled to get unstuck out of the rabbit hole as Haretail fought with the dog. Hawkpaw and Sunshimmer came running back to them once they heard the dog. Hawkpaw helped her get unstuck as Sunshimmer jumped on into the fight to help Haretail defend off the large dog. Jumping into the fight too, the apprentices helped chase off the dog.
Once the dog was gone, Haretail ended up collapsing to the ground. He was terribly wounded from fending off the large dog and Sunshimmer had managed to get hit a bit too. Sunshimmer carried Haretail back to the camp with the shocked two apprentices following behind in silence. Haretail ended up dying a week later from his wound and illness.
Fawnpaw was struck with grief with her mentor's death. She distanced herself from others and really only stuck close to Birdpaw. She became a lot closer to her during this time as she could really only find comfort from her friend. She did still talk to her brother Smokepaw occasionally but didn't really talk much to anyone else. Her relationship with Hawkpaw did improve as he did help her get out of the rabbit hole but she still didn't really like him that much. They talked a bit more than they use to but typically kept to themselves.
She soon got a new mentor, Redfoot. Redfoot was a senior warrior at the time and was much blunter compared to Haretail. Fawnpaw wasn't too pleased with her new mentor but she kept her thoughts to herself. She took after more of her mentor's harsher personality. She became a bit more snappy about things as she wasn't too happy at the time. Though, she was determined to finish her apprenticeship strong. She became focused on her training and didn't like to wait on the others when they were slower to grasp something. She soon became a warrior a few moons later.
Warrior
Fawnpaw is now a warrior and has the name Fawncloud. Her brothers ranked up with her, Smokewhisker and Hawkcry, along with Birdpaw to Birdwhisker. She set out to be the best warrior she could be now that she finally ranked up to a warrior. She opened back up more to others and no longer sulking around anymore. She was still stern and impatient especially when it patrols as she wanted to do patrols well and done in a timely fashion. Redfoot had taught her to do her best and do it in a timely manner.
After some moons of being a warrior, she got an apprentice, Comfreypaw. Fawncloud took a liking to her very well and liked the young apprentice very much. She was a lot lighter on training on her than the other apprentices but she was still tough. She was determined to train her apprentice the best she could and hoped Comfreypaw could be a great warrior one day. The young she-cat also shared her mentor's determination and trained hard to keep up with Fawncloud's stricter training.
Moons passed once more and now her apprentice was a warrior, Comfreynose. Fawncloud had grown closer to Birdwhisker and had soon developed feelings for her. She was even complementing asking Birdwhisker to be her mate but was holding back, unsure of how Birdwhisker felt. Fawncloud felt that Birdwhisker liked her too but didn't want to spring anything too soon on the other she-cat especially not if she didn't like her. Around this time, the Lake and Moonpool started to dry up.
Water drying up and prey soon vanishing quickly, Fawncloud put all her focus on helping her clan. She would join patrols whenever she could and would spend the time she wasn't out trying to hunt for something to feed the clan with. All her thoughts about becoming Birdwhisker were soon pushed to the back of her mind as she focused on helping the clan. Though, when she would go out to hunt on her own, she would give Birdwhisker something if she managed to catch something.
Illness soon spread throughout the clan and her mother Pigeonflight fell ill shortly after the clan started getting sick. Her father had stopped helping the clan and would spend as much time as he could with her. They were both elders by the time this happened. Pigeonflight passed away though from being too old and weak to truly stay alive with illness in the current conditions the clans were experiencing. Swallowheart was stricken with grief and refused to let anyone bury her body. He stayed in the den with her body, not doing anything but staying with her. He died from illness, age, and weakness from hunger and thirst a week after Pigeonflight has died.
The water was drying up fast and there very little left. Fawncloud was full of grief over the loss of her parents and spent some more time with her brother, Smokewhisker. Hawkcry occasionally was with them especially when they had buried their parents to grieve with his siblings despite their differences. She soon focused her attention on trying to help her clan, trying to put her feelings away.
Birdwhisker soon started feeling not too well and did end up becoming ill. Determined not to lose another cat she was close to, she focused her time hunting and caring for Birdwhisker. She tried her best to what she could to help keep Birdwhisker healthy once more. Hawkcry was showing up more than usual to see Birdwhisker and was bringing her things too. Fawncloud thought it was odd to keep seeing her brother there but she typically tried to ignore it to focus on something else. Her efforts, however, were futile as Birdwhisker grew weaker as the days passed and soon died from illness too.
With Birdwhisker's death, Fawncloud laid her body, full of grief. Hawkcry came to stay with her body too, clearly hurting too. That's when Fawncloud finally spoke up, asking her brother why he kept coming there. He didn't answer the question but instead, he spun the question around to her. Flustered, she snapped to him about her feelings for Birdwhisker and retorted back to why he was there. After all, Birdwhisker spent a lot of time with her and not him. He stuttered and finally admitted that he also had feelings for her. Fawncloud was shocked and upset at hearing this as she was already upset with Birdwhisker's death but couldn't believe her brother had feelings for a cat he barely knew. He never hung out with her and it was, for the most part, clear that Fawncloud had an interest in Birdwhisker.
The two ended up fighting about it which led to them both storming off, angry with each other. Fawncloud spent a few days away from the clan and only saw her brother, Smokewhisker. Smokewhisker was the only one she felt the most comfortable with for the time being and hung out close with him for a long while. She also spoke little to her past apprentice, Comfreynose who she went to for comfort occasionally.
The Lake and Moonpool had finally dried up and the clan was practically falling apart. The journey for the clans soon came and everyone left their old home. The journey was rough and still didn't give any ease to Fawncloud. Her past apprentice, Comfreynose, had got stuck in a rock slide. Diving towards her, Fawncloud desperately tried to save her but to no avail. Comfreynose ended up tumbling off into the rocky abyss, never to be seen again. Struck with grief over the loss of her former apprentices, Fawncloud stayed silent and stuck close to her brother.
Moons passed as the clans traveled through the mountains, and soon they came to an area that seemed to have been abandoned by previous cats. Redfoot decided to stay behind with the cats here as he was much older than he was before and wasn't sure if he could make it much further. Smokewhisker felt that continuing onward for some home was pointless by now. It had been a long journey and he had given up hope of finding the new home. He ended staying behind with the cats in the mountains, which left Fawncloud on her own as she stuck with the rest of the clans. She was determined that there was a home, a home without so much grief and suffering.
The journey finally came to an end as the cats finally had found a new place to call their home. Fawncloud became determined to forget everything that happened in the past. She wanted to carve out a new and better life here in the new home of the clans. Though, she couldn't seem to forget everything as Hawkcry was still there. All he did was remind her everything that happened and she tried to avoid him whenever she could.

Roleplay
Taken from roleplay between @/ibeebs from Jericho-RP
Bright green eyes scanned the sandy, rocky landscape where the safe haven of Eden rested in. The gaze of the eyes drifted around as they watched the cats scurry about as they headed out onto patrols or returned from them. The eyes began to quicken its movements as it began to search the cats down below for that one familiar cat, never lingering longer than a few seconds on one cat below. Eyebrows soon furrowed downward over the eyes as annoyance surfaced inside as the cat that was being searched for was not found. A stale breeze blew by causing the eyes to shift to look to the side as white-gray fur was ruffled.
Flopping down onto the rough rocky ledge, the owner of the eyes let out an annoyed sigh as the air became still once more. His brother must be around here somewhere but he hadn't seen him all day. Who is he going to hang out with now? He barely knew anyone around this place other than his brother and he wasn't really up for a patrol right now. The patrols were always rather dull to him with barely anything exciting going on it. He wasn't allowed to go off exploring the outside area so he resorted to exploring the area of the safe haven instead. However, exploring the new place by himself isn't very fun either.
A light breeze blew by once more for only a few seconds before the air became flat once more. Licking his lips, he glanced down towards the running water that was spilling down into a pool below him. It sure was hot out and a nice drink would be nice before he tried to find his brother again. His gaze soon darted to a brown cat who had come to a stop at the pool of water. The white-gray tom stood up from his spot, leaning over the ledge as he looked at the cat with a smile coming across his face. Maybe he could get that cat to come exploring with him, after all, he didn't seem too busy unlike the others and his brother wasn't anywhere in sight.
Hopping on down rather ungracefully, the tom made his way down and over to his destination. He went from ledge to ledge and then soon came to a stop on the last one before the ground. Bunching up his hind legs, he jumped down the final ledge and landed down into the water pool, causing water to splash all around. Somewhat wet from the landing in the pool, he blinked his eyes to get the water drops out before looking on over to the brown cat, a big smile on his face as he called out, "Hey!"
