Dunkleosteus... This guy is not done (obviously) but i would like comments/ critiques on it at this stage... Even if there isn't a terrible lot i can do to change it now.still needs a jaw and to have the fins attached.

I'm liking it, I think it's cute, sort of like a tadpole version or larval Dunk. Are you going to add any muscles that close the lower jaw? I think the head looks too much like just the skull, could there be more flesh on it? I like the way it looks, lots of character, nice textures too. About 15 years ago I made a couple life-sized Dunkleosteus models for the Cleveland Museum and the AMNH, so I looked at these things for hundreds of hours.

Hey,
I mostly sculpt with Polymer clay like Super Sculpey, Sculpey firm, or fimo clay, I also use epoxy putty. It is all built up over an armature made up of wire, Foil, epoxy putty, and anything else that will work for that job. I hope that helps.
